The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
